Don't be a 'Spring Breaker'

It happens every year just like the 'New Years Resolutioners'... individuals will focus on a single event to jump start their fitness routine and as soon as that event is over, it's back to the regular mantra of unhealthy eating and avoiding exercise. Often for spring break, people vacation in warm destinations where there is sun and a bathing suit is a must and when bathing suits are involved, people go to great lengths shed the unwanted extra pounds.

This type of mentality is not recommended because one should never go to extremes to lose extra pounds... it should be a gradual decline created by healthy lifestyle choices. Eating healthy and not eating are completely different when one is seeking weight control. The same goes for comparing regular exercise to extreme conditioning in order to lose weight. It just doesn't make sense to go up and down, maintain a constant vigil with your health, don't let up but at the same time, don't go overboard with something that cannot be sustained.

Rather than torturing yourself into shape, try taking a different approach: always eat healthy, always exercise, and always make smart choices to lead a healthier life. If you do this then you will not have to worry about what you look like in a bathing suit for spring break because you will already look and feel great.
