Arm Stretches
As with any exercise, warming up the biceps, triceps and forearms is a great way to prevent injury. This can be done a number of ways:
- Bring your right arm across your body above the chest area. Take your left hand and gently pull the right elbow further left, feeling the stretch in the tricep. Repeat for the opposite side.
- Bring your right arm above your head and bend it at the elbow towards the body. Take your left arms and gently push down on the elbow. Repeat for the opposite side.
- Straighten your right arm in front of you. With your fingers pointing up (like you are making a "stop" motion), gently pull back on your fingers towards your body, stretching out the forearm. Repeat for the opposite side.
- Straighten your right arm in front of you. With your palm facing up and your fingers pointing down, gently push the fingers back towards the body. Repeat for the opposite side.
