Last week, I wrote about when you are experiencing an injury or totally burnt out from exercising, "Sometimes You Have To Take A Break". I followed my advice came back stronger than before. The wrist does not hurt and I had two killer workouts and a couple of really great runs. I must admit though, it is hard not to exercise when you are normally on a set schedule.

Being on a set exercise schedule is important as it provides consistency and structure, two very important things with any fitness plan. There is an old saying that it takes three weeks to make a habit but only three days to break one. I have found this to be entirely true, especially with running. Some days can be difficult but powering through the days where you do not want to do anything are the most important days to get motivated.

If you are looking for ways to push yourself, head over to the "Motivation" section to learn about various ways to keep charging forward with your workout.
